Greetings Friends,

I’ve been performing my own brand of acoustic based music in and around Florida for 20 years. I say my own brand because my music has always been very difficult to define or to categorize. It’s not pop, folk or rock, although it is primarily a combination of those three styles with varying doses of several other styles sprinkled into the mix. I’ve written hundreds of original songs and instrumentals. I play several different instruments, but I consider myself a guitarist first and foremost and a vocalist second.

I’ve played thousands of gigs at hundreds of different venues. I’ve been able to make a living as a musician by mixing large helpings of original songs and instrumentals with a wide variety of different covers. Although I’ve never taken any lessons to speak of, I’ve managed to develop my own, distinct method and style of fingerpicking and fret board slapping, but I also rely on a very percussive flat picking rhythm guitar method. Both my fingernails and my pick have served me well through the years. Standard tuning, open and alternate tunings are all used interchangeably on both 6 and 12 string guitars.

Throughout the years, I’ve played as a solo act and with several different backing bands and with a variety of different duo and trio partners. It’s been a blessing to have played with so many different and great musicians over the last two decades. I’m thankful to have played with them all. I’ve seen the world of music go through a number of changes, but it’s still my belief that people of all stripes find well-played, heartfelt, guitar driven music to be worthy of their time. I’ve always said that as long as the good Lord was willing and my fingers were still working, that I’d play until I drop. Now that I’m a husband and a father, I’ve had to add that as long as it worked for my family, I’ll play until I drop. So, I hope to see you out there sometime, somewhere. God Bless you all.
